Bobbie is a North Dakota native, who grew up in Stanley with four siblings. She has one daughter who lives with her husband in Richmond, Virginia. Her daughter is an art professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and John Tyler College in Richmond, Virginia.
Bobbie studied Fine Art at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. She then studied Graphic Design at Bismarck Junior College. She worked as a graphic designer for The Bismarck Tribune for 37 years.
Favorite subjects to paint are prairie landscapes and native wildlife. Her paintings are colorful and textured. Her style is ever evolving. She is a member of BAGA and has won several awards in BAGA art competitions.
