Our new exhibit will speak to you ... in "Whispers"
Whispers runs April 30 - June 29
A special combination of nature, art and poetry awaits you at The Capital Gallery with our exhibit called Whispers.
Bismarck photographer and poet Kent Burkhardsmeier has teamed up with fellow artists to merge talents to create a gallery experience unlike any other. The artists blend together photography, artwork, and poetry to offer an extra dimension to
understanding and appreciating what they see and feel when they capture, paint, compose, and express.
This artistic collaboration includes works by Burkhardsmeier and fellow artists Jessica Wachter, Bismarck; Britta Anderson, Missoula; Shelley Larson, Valley City; Alicia Leingang, Bismarck; and Jon Offutt, Fargo. A few samples:
From left: Fresh Air by Kent Burkhardsmeier, Landscape Bowl by Jon Offutt, Page turner by Jessica Wachter, Window Camping by Britta Anderson, Blue Skies Smiling at Me! by Shelley Larson, and Perennial Union by Alicia Leingang.

Thursday, May 2, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
at The Capital Gallery
When I am outdoors with a camera, I’m called to surroundings that touch my heart. ...Back in the studio with my images, I am inspired to create poems. I feel nature "whispers" her story. May your well-being be positively impacted by viewing, reading, and pondering the curated pieces of Whispers. ~ Kent Burkhardsmeier
The exhibit is free of charge and open to the public. All pieces are for enjoyment and for sale.
